Academic Area: History and theory of poetics; modern Turkish poetry; literary theory and hermeneutics; originality theories; time in literature; testimony of literature; Tanzimat literature and art experience. Currently, his research projects include a book on the deconstruction of Tanzimat period literature through the concept of literary experience.

Selected Works: He wrote his master thesis 2012 entitled “Huzur ve Ulysses’te Derin Semantik Olarak Zaman Sorunu” and his PhD entitled “Şiirin Özgünlüğü Bağlamında Poetika Sorunu” in 2018 . His publish books: “Çağdaş Türkiye’de Muhafazakâr Sanat Sorunu: Perspektifler ve Diyaloglar“(2013) and “Walter G. Andrews Kitabı: Osmanlı Şiiri İçin Bir Deniz Feneri” (with Atiye Gülfer Gündoğdu, 2019). Some of his articles, papers and translations: “Hâmid’in Makber‘inde İfadeyi Bulma, Çelişki ve Olasılık Sorunu” (2017), “Tarihselciliğin ve Formalizmin Ötesinde Edebiyatın Tanıklığı” (2019), “Söylenmeyen Olarak Mitos: Metafor ve Teori” (2019), “Nesnelciliğin ve Öznelciliğin Ötesi: Edebiyatta Gösterge ve Oyun” (2020) and Jean Grondin’s “Gadamer’in Umudu” (2019).
