Double Major Programs

Students registered in one department at Samsun University, have the opportunity to pursue
education at another department at the same time during their undergraduate studies. It is called
“Double Major Program” (DMP). Undergraduate students can apply to Double Major Program at the
beginning of third semester at the earliest and at the beginning of fifth semester at latest, provided
that they have taken and passed all the classes included in the academic program, their nominal GPA
(Grade Point Average) is 3.00, or above, out of 4.00 and they are in the top 20% of their first major.
Students who successfully complete their Double Major Program are granted two undergraduate
degrees. Students admitted to the program, follow a different academic program which is co-created
