Academic Area: Intertextuality, intermediality, comparative literature, literary theories, socialist realism, cinema and literature, adaptation.

Selected Works: He defended his master’s thesis titled “A Ghost in ‘Turkey’s Soul’: Intertextual and Intermedial Encounter with Dostoevsky in Modern Turkish Literature and Film” in Bilkent University at September 2020. He continues his Ph. D studies at Boğaziçi University The Department of Turkish Language and Literature. Some of his articles and papers: Trajik Modernleşmelerin Kesişimi: Dostoyevski ve Oğuz Atay (2019 Toplum ve Bilim), Marksist Estetikle Nâzım Hikmet Poetikasına Bakmak (2017 Birikim), The Effects of Population Exchange on Greek and Turkish Literature: Dido Sotiriyu and Yasar Kemal (2019 Budapeşte), Similar and Different Modernizations: Bihruz and Oblomov (2018 Bamberg).
